On November 6th, Kayleigh and Steven Hajny discuss their struggle with infertility on Boston’s affiliate ABC network, WCVB5, and how they were able to build their family with support from Steven’s employer, VMWare, and the Progyny benefit.
Kayleigh always knew she wanted to be a mom but also knew it was going to be harder for her to conceive naturally since she has PCOS. So, their family building journey began and after failed medicated cycles, IUIs, the next option was IVF. However, IVF comes with a high price tag, one that can be prohibitive for many. Thankfully, VMware announced they partnered with Progyny and the Hajnys were able to move forward with treatment. After years of heartache, the Hanjys finally became a family of three.
