Frequently Asked Questions
Need more information? Give us a call, we’re here to help!
How do I know if I’m eligible for the Progyny benefit?
The Progyny benefit is only available through your (or your partner’s) employer-sponsored benefits and you may need to be enrolled in an eligible health plan. Your spouse/partner may also be covered. Talk to your HR or benefits team to confirm if they offer Progyny benefits. You can also call Progyny to confirm your eligibility and learn more.
How much does it cost?
All services are subject to your financial responsibility based on your medical plan, which may include deductible, coinsurance, copayment, and/or out of pocket maximum. Your Progyny Menopause PCA will review these details with you during enrollment and as needed.
Why do I need to see a menopause trained provider outside of my PCP or GYN?
You deserve to see experts who are specifically trained in all stages of menopause to ensure you get the right treatment plan for you. Progyny’s menopause providers are experts in perimenopause and menopause and trained to address your specific symptoms such as weight fluctuation, anxiety, insomnia, brain fog, joint pain, and hot flashes. Tailored solutions include hormone therapies, non-hormonal medications, supplements, and lifestyle protocols, such as nutrition plans, acupuncture, and mental health support. These providers also offer convenience through online scheduling, appointments, and messaging.
